Q: Why do you want to be a District Court judge?
A: I have been doing the same work as a District Court judge for
over 31/2 years as an appointed Court Commissioner. As the new
District Court judge, I will be accountable directly to voters every
four years. In the "People's Court," we come into contact with
thousands of people every year - civil litigants, ordinary citizens
with speeding or parking tickets, criminal defendants and their
