To commemorate the centennial anniversary of the dedication of
four West Virginia monuments at Gettysburg National Military Park,
the monuments will be rededicated this weekend.
The ceremony Saturday will take place at the site of the 7th West
Virginia Infantry monument in Gettysburg, Pa.
The keynote speaker for the event is Dr. C. Stuart McGehee,
chairman of the West Virginia Archives and History Commission and
chairman of the history department at West Virginia State College.
An optional tour will be provided in the afternoon by the George
Tyler Moore Center for the Study of the Civil War of Shepherd
