KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Knoxville Police Department and the
University of Tennessee are establishing a national forensic school
that will teach law enforcement officials how to better collect and
preserve evidence. "This is a dream come true," said Arthur
Bohanan, an internationally renowned fingerprint expert who is a
criminalistics specialist at the Knoxville Police Department.
"There's just not anything like this available."
Classes at the 10-week National Forensic Academy are expected to
start in September.
Bohanan said he expects to be an instructor there, teaching
courses on composite sketching, child fatalities, Internet crimes
against children and using Super Glue to obtain ...
