Article: Kiwanis Club leader plans to continue service organization's tradition

The current president of the Kiwanis Club of Charleston doesn't see her role as groundbreaking in being the first female elected to the position in the club's 82-year history. Her top priority, instead, is to continue the service organization's tradition of helping youth locally and worldwide into the 21st century.

Yolanda L. Tam of Hurricane became president of the Kiwanis Club of Charleston in October and will serve in that capacity through September.
