Article: Log cabin a legacy of love

Long before the sign went up, folks just assumed that the log cabin on Bills Creek Road was an antique shop.

After a neighbor put up a sign for the neighbor's new antique business, shoppers started stopping at Ronnie and Darlina Dunlap's log cabin near Winfield.

While there was no sign at the Dunlaps' to say browsers were at the right location, everything else seemed to indicate an antique shop. The lawn was decorated with whimsical folk art, and the side porch featured an array of items from bygone days. Who could blame an antique hunter for coming to the wrong conclusion?

In time, the Dunlaps adopted their mistaken identity.
