The French worship cheese. Really, they do. There are more than
450 different kinds of cheeses in France. So, let's just say that
when you go to the store, you've got a fairly decent selection. The
French love cheese so much that they have reserved a whole course
dedicated to it. The first course and main course are followed by
the cheese course, where an assortment of cheeses arrives on a
platter, sometimes accompanied by salad greens bathed in, what else,
vinaigrette dressing.
This is certainly a healthier way to eat cheese, but the ch vre
(goat cheese), Camembert or bleu are just divine on crusty European
