The recipe below for Graham Cracker Cake will make an old-
fashioned treat with a dense, tender crumb and a distinct graham
cracker flavor. You can serve it plain, or dressed up with a whipped
cream or cream cheese frosting. It's delicious. Graham Cracker Cake
Preparation time: 50 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Yield: 10 servings
12 full-size graham crackers, crushed (1 3/4 cups)
1/2 cup flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Frosting:
2 1/2 cups chilled whipping cream
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
