Article: So wrong to say Labour has forgotten John Smith

IT'S sad to see that John Smith's memory is being used to bash the Labour party (Labour accused of forgetting Smith, News, March 21) and all because the party has no official plans to mark the fifth anniversary of his death.

I'm proud to say that I worked for John Smith when he was Labour party leader. And I'm equally proud to be able to say that I am a member of a party that has not forgotten John Smith's politics or John Smith the man.
