A SCOTS couple yesterday described how their holiday was ruined
when a catalogue of problems forced them to abandon a troubled
cruise
ship after only three days.
David and Fiona Kinniburgh from Leven, Fife, had planned for
years
for the 18-day cruise from Athens to the Gulf of Mexico.
On Monday they and 754 other Thomson Holidays passengers were
flown back to Britain from Valletta in Malta.
Hundreds of angry passengers bombarded cruise staff with
complaints even before the ship set sail from Athens on Friday
evening.
Mrs Kinniburgh said passengers boarding the ship complained about
blocked toilets, faulty showers, wash hand basins that were cracked,
parts of toilets that were missing, cabins ...
