THE Dundee manager Jocky Scott admitted last night that a crisis
of confidence was making home games impossible for some of his
players.
Sunday's 1-0 defeat by St Johnstone means the First Division
champions have started the season with three straight defeats at Dens
Park and are already facing an uphill fight to stay in the Premier
League.
Scott said: "We have not had a good home record for a couple of
years now, and some of the players don't go into games here with a
great deal of confidence and feel under pressure even before the
start.
"And what confidence and self-belief they do have is drained away
when supporters begin to get on their backs.
