A RECENT study revealed that men and women who have sex almost every day look more than ten years younger than the average Briton. Now, those intent on that regime face a dilemma.

New research has shown that limiting sex to once or twice a week boosts the immune system and wards off colds and flus. But scientists found that too much sex was linked with ill health as people who indulged too much were the most susceptible to infection.

Doctors can evaluate how robust the immune system is by measuring levels of an antibody, immunoglobulin A (IgA) in the saliva and mucosal linings of the nose and airways. IgA is the body's first line of defence against colds and flu, binding and "pinning down" ...
