LOONIES from across Britain converged on a London church
yesterday
to pay their respects at a send-off fitting for the leader of the
Official Monster Raving Loony Party.
About 250 mourners dressed in teddy-boy outfits, leopard skin
suits, tinsel wigs and bright yellow Vote Lord Sutch rosettes packed
St Paul's Church in Harrow, with a further 200 mourners following
the
service over speakers outside.
Sutch's fiancee Yvonne Elwood was joined by his former
girlfriends
and Tristan, his son from his relationship with Thann Quantrill. He
had flown from the United States.
John Tempest led the tribute to the man who brought a sense of fun
