There are distinct differences in diet between the various
regions
of the UK. While it sometimes seems as though the Central Belt of
Scotland has an insatiable appetite for day-glo pink Lorne sausage,
there isn't much of a market in Livingston for mushy peas. Nip down
to Yorkshire, though, and the situation is reversed. Generations
have been fed on the processed green paste, yet if a rogue square
sausage turned up unannounced it would probably be shot on sight.
The same is true of the country's diverse music tastes. The
frantic and lurid jabber of happy hardcore is the Lorne sausage of
the music world and enjoys a huge appeal among a geographically
distinct section of the Central Belt's ...
