High praise CUMBERNAULD's Craig Ferguson seems set to crack
international moviedom after the damp squib of his last movie, The
Big Tease, with his imminent film Saving Grace hailed at Stateside
festivals and in Blighty about to become this summer's Notting Hill,
so we are told.
Ferguson plays Matthew, dope-smoking gardener to indigent aristo
Brenda Blethyn (Grace). The two concoct a plan to grow large
quantities of marijuana in order to save Grace's beloved mansion
from the forces of evil. The Man Who Was Once Bing Hitler, and
invented the term "raging Corrie" (now the name of a hillwalking
fanzine) stars, co-wrote and co-produced the film, the subject
matter of which is already attracting ...
