HOW times change. It's nowonder the nation is going to the dogs,
you may splutter over your Honey Nut Loops, if this is the sort of
thing they are getting up to at one of the country's top public
schools.
Compare and contrast. In our picture from a bygone age, a young
chap, Charles by name, and his father, a Duke of Edinburgh, shake
hands with a teacher at Gordonstoun, in Moray.
The participants are wearing sensible shoes and sober suits with
turn-ups on the trousers. No-one has opted for a G-string. And
today? Wide-eyed boys stand agog as a showdancer - a showdancer! -
disports herself shamelessly. Her head is decorated with ostrich
feathers, her body is barely covered at all.
