Aberdeen scoops 500,000 pound BA deal

ABERDEEN Business School has beaten every other British university, including top names like Cranfield, by winning a three- year GBP 500,000 training contract with aviation blue-chip, British Airways.

The Robert Gordon University unit expects to put around 300 management and supervisory staff through courses over the period, with the emphasis on delivering the programme via its internet- based virtual campus.

The first batch of candidates includes BA staff from Spain, Italy, Poland and South Africa. The scheme will shortly be rolled out to personnel in other key locations like Dubai and New York.
