I wonder what it is about Patsy Kensit that makes her such a target for public venom. After it was revealed that she had been doing a bit of stepping out with footballer-turned-TV pundit Ally McCoist, she immediately went back to being labelled the most fatale of femmes, and pages and pages of newsprint launched into analysis of what it might be that makes her so predatory.

This idea of Patsy as the predatory blonde is not a new one, but it is misguided. There's really nothing dangerous about Patsy (unless you actually are Patsy).
