WASHINGTON, May 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- A report to Congress on the
state of federally supported research on Persian Gulf veterans'
health released today by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for
the Persian Gulf Veterans Coordinating Board outlines strategies for
a better understanding of the health issues through some 70 federal
research projects and other studies.
The "Report to Congress: Research on Persian Gulf Veterans'
Illnesses" is the third annual report provided to the House and
Senate Veterans' Affairs Committees by the VA. VA annually updates
the status and results of federally funded research pursuant to
Public Law 102-585 in coordination with the departments of Defense ...
