Article: A Tradition of Railroads and Presidents Continues with Clinton

WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 /U.S. Newswire/ -- On Aug. 25, when President Clinton climbs aboard the special presidential train taking him to the Democratic National Convention, he will be continuing a tradition begun 163 years ago by President Andrew Jackson.

It's a tradition that virtually every president -- Democrat, Republican and Whig -- has followed ever since.
