The Sierra Club, League of Conservation Voters and Clean
Water Action will announce the endorsement of the re-election
of President Clinton and Vice President Gore. The announcement
will be held in Rock Creek Park, Washington, D.C., on Saturday,
Oct. 5. Vice President Gore and Carol Browner will join
representatives from each of the organizations at the event.
Press activities with environmental leaders, citizen activists
and Clinton/Gore '96 officials will be held in over 30 states
nationwide to mark the endorsement.
