WASHINGTON, March 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The President today announced his intent to re-nominate James J. Hoecker of Virginia as a Member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Hoecker has ably served on the Commission since May, 1993.

Prior to joining the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Hoecker was of counsel at the law firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue where his practice focused on regulatory and legislative issues concerning natural gas and electric power.
