Article: Conservationists Warn Legislation Would 'Repeal' Endangered Species Act; Markup Schedule for Today

WASHINGTON, Oct. 12 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Flanked by a bald eagle, conservation leaders warned at a Capitol Hill press conference yesterday that legislation scheduled for markup today in the House Resources Committee would virtually repeal the Endangered Species Act.
