NEW YORK, Oct. 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- David H. Strassler and
Abraham H. Foxman, national chairman and national director of the
Anti-Defamation League (ADL) respectively, made the following
statement after hearing Minister Louis Farrakhan speak at the Million
Man March in Washington, D.C.:
"We saw many hopeful signs at the Million Man March today.
Several of the speakers raised many significant issues that face the
African-American community, including white racism.
"However, we remain deeply troubled by Minister Farrakhan's role
in organizing this march. Minister Farrakhan remains unchanged in
