THE PRESIDENT: Good afternoon. For tens of millions of
Americans the civil rights division of the Department of Justice has
historically embodied what is best about our country. It's helped
us to keep the promise of our Constitution, to provide to every
American equal opportunity and equal protection under the law,
regardless of race or gender or disability.
