WASHINGTON, Feb. 21 /U.S. Newswire/ -- American Farmland Trust
today presented the charismatic publisher of a national
agricultural magazine a 1993 Agricultural Conservation Award for
spearheading the drive behind the grass farming revolution in the
United States.
Bryan Petrucci, director of resource conservation programs for
AFT, conferred the prestigious award to H. Allan Nation at the 1994
North American Dairy Grazing Conference sponsored by Nation's
magazine, The Stockman Grass Farmer. AFT, a national farmland
conservation group based in Washington, distributes the coveted
awards annually to recognize outstanding efforts to conserve the
nation's agricultural resources.
