Article: Crime Briefing for Community Leaders, Law Enforcement Officials and Elected Officials

News Advisory:

Wed., April 13, community leaders, Law enforcement officials, and elected officials will attend a crime leadership briefing from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the White House. The briefing will be CLOSED PRESS. However, many attendees will be available after the event to be interviewed on the North Lawn at noon.

Participants will be briefed by: Attorney General Janet Reno, Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy Lee Brown, and Deputy Secretary of Education Madeline Kunin. These officials will outline the president's crime initiative.
