WASHINGTON, April 25 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Jack Bass was named the
winner of the 14th Annual Robert F. Kennedy Book Award for his
compelling biography "Taming the Storm: The Life and Times of Judge
Frank M. Johnson Jr. and the South's Fight Over Civil Rights."
The staff of the Chicago Tribune was named the grand prize winner
in the 26th Annual Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Awards for "Killing
Our Children." The Book and Journalism Awards will be presented at
the Freedom Forum on May 11, by Mrs. Robert F. Kennedy.
