WASHINGTON, May 23 /U.S. Newswire/ -- A group of executives
from the small business-dominated apparel industry will travel
to Washington Tuesday (May 24th) to lobby Congress and the White
House for a comprehensive change in the health care system.
A joint industry-labor project, the goal of the day's activities is
to demonstrate that support for reform is widespread among small
businesses on which the escalating costs of health care insurance now
falls unfairly and unevenly, despite opposition to reform from some
organizations purporting to represent small business interests.
The apparel industry group of 15 will come from four states: New
York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland. ...
