NEW YORK, June 9 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Anti-Defamation League
(ADL) today called upon Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP)
to condemn a book written by one of its officials that sets
Hitler up as a role model for regaining power. LDP is Japan's
largest political party, and last summer was ousted from control
of the government after nearly 40 years.
Abraham H. Foxman, ADL national director, wrote the party's
secretary general, Yoshiro Mori, that the report of the book
by Yoshio Ogai, "is disturbing and requires strong and immediate
condemnation by party leaders."

for Certain Victory in Modern Elections," may not deal with
