ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 15 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Estonian President
Lennart Meri will be the keynote speaker at a meeting of the Forum
of Central and Eastern European Newspaper Publishers' Associations
in Tallinn, Estonia, being held from Sept. 18 to 20.
The Tallinn meeting is one of several Freedom Forum-sponsored
events taking place in Europe this month.
Meri, an award-winning writer and film director before he
entered politics, will deliver his remarks on Sept. 18 to
publishers from around the region. Meri, the country's former
minister of foreign affairs and ambassador to Finland, was elected
president of Estonia in 1992.
