HOMESTEAD, Fla., Dec. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The City of Homestead
announced Wednesday that the Florida Marlins and the Baltimore
Orioles will play a spring training game on March 11, 1994, at
the Homestead Sports Complex to benefit the renovations of
Robey-George Park.
"This is a great opportunity for the Marlins to continue helping
in the rebuilding process of South Florida," said Marlins General
Manager David Dombrowski. "In addition, by playing in Homestead it
gives our local fans another chance to see us play during spring
training."
Robey-George Park is a focal point in the southwest section of
Homestead that is utilized by youth organizations throughout South
