WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The following was released
today by the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network:
The Pentagon is expected to release its 1998 discharge figures
for
FY 1998 under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Pursue" this afternoon.
Those figures are expected to top 1,000 military members, the
highest number in a decade. The Servicemembers Legal Defense
Network (SLDN) says this is an example of how the military's "Don't
Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Pursue" policy is being used to target gay
soldiers.
