The Brookings Institution will present a National Issues Forum
entitled "Creating a Better Start for Children: A New Look at Child
Care and Early Childhood Education" on April 21, from 8:45 a.m. to
12:30 p.m., in the Falk Auditorium at Brookings.
The forum will be moderated by Isabel Sawhill, a senior fellow and
director of the Brookings Roundtable on Children. The purpose of
this National Issues Forum is to encourage a broader dialogue about
providing a better start in life for young children, and to discuss
the most effective ways of improving their early care and education.
