WASHINGTON, July 30 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Vice President Al Gore
announced today that Attorney General Mark Pryor will serve as his
Gore 2000 chair in Arkansas. On August 7, a Gore 2000 reception
with President Clinton and Vice President will be held in Little
Rock, Ark.
"I am extremely pleased to announce that Mark Pryor, the Attorney
General of Arkansas, has agreed to serve as Arkansas state director
for my campaign," Gore said. "Mark has demonstrated his dedication
to making all communities in Arkansas safer places to live.
