TUCSON, Ariz., Sept. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- St. Ambrose Catholic
School, one of Tucson's oldest Catholic schools, will celebrate it
50th anniversary with a two-day "fiesta" Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2
and 3 at the church and school, 300 S. Tucson Blvd. The fiesta, from
noon until 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, will
feature live music, food, carnival games and sales of numerous items
old and new. Festival admission is both free and open to the public.
A special effort is being made to locate (or account for) all of
St. Ambrose's former students, as no such list currently exists. One
of Tucson's oldest parochial schools of any kind, St. Ambrose alumni
have included many from ...
