Article: Rwanda Report Released at United Nations; Kofi Annan Expresses 'Deep Remorse'

WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The three-member independent Commission which at the request of United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan conducted an independent inquiry into the genocide in Rwanda during 1994, released its report at U.N. headquarters in New York today. In receiving the report, Annan said that he had commissioned the completely independent report because of the enormity of the events which had happened.
