WASHINGTON, March 9 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The following was released today by the White House: Eighty-three outstanding men and women have advanced to the second round of competition for a White House Fellowship, America's most prestigious fellowship program for leadership development and public service. Only one in five applicants were selected as Regional Finalists for the 1998-1999 Class of White House Fellows.
