WASHINGTON, April 2 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Millions of Americans
with asthma, including five million children, must be included
in the transition process away from metered dose inhalers (MDIs)
containing ozone-depleting substances and a range of alternative
treatments must be available, the president of a group representing
12 million asthmatics told Congress today.
Nancy Sander, president of Allergy and Asthma Network/Mothers of
Asthmatics, testified before the Senate Labor & Human Resources
Committee about the impact of the proposed regulation from the Food
