Program and an observer team

What: The observer team will focus on the impact of Hurricane George at Western Sambos Ecological Reserve and other shallow reef tops off Key West where winds of 115 mph and a 4-6 foot storm surge battered the fragile island. The team will conduct an initial post-hurricane assessment of coral reef conditions in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
