WASHINGTON, March 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Sen. Bob Dole today announced his first major post-election endeavor -- leading the national campaign to build the World War II Memorial on the National Mall.

Standing near the memorial's designated Rainbow Pool site, Sen. Dole spoke of his strong commitment to the World War II Memorial.
