WASHINGTON, April 25 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The National Organization
on Disability expressed serious concern about the USA
Today/CNN/Gallup Poll relating to the FDR Memorial that appeared
in this morning's USA Today.
"The poll is misleading," stated Alan Reich, president of
the National Organization on Disability. "Moreover, it is not
helpful, especially after the announcement on Wednesday that
President Clinton intends to offer legislation, to be introduced
by Sen. Inouye (D-Hawaii), that would add a statue of FDR in
a wheelchair to the Memorial."
The USA Today/CNN/Gallup Poll, conducted April 18-23, asking
