BEDMINSTER, N.J., Sept. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Steve Forbes,
honorary chairman of Americans for Hope, Growth and Opportunity, a
national issues advocacy organization, today praised Rep. Steve
Largent (R-Okla.) for introducing the "Tax Code Termination Act" to
abolish the current federal income tax code by Dec. 31, 2001.
Forbes also reiterated his call for a vote on the Armey-Shelby 17
percent flat tax.
