DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., Feb. 6 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Humane
Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation's largest animal
protection organization, has joined with the Florida-based Marine
Safety Group in urging Deerfield Beach to stop commercial diving
operations from feeding potentially dangerous sea life, including
sharks, rays, barracudas, and moray eels.
The Deerfield Beach City Council will meet tonight, Tuesday, Feb.
6, at 7 p.m., to consider a proposal to ban a practice that many
experienced divers feel is a prelude to tragedy.
