WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The National Campaign for
Hearing Health will join the Association of Flight Attendants today
(Feb. 10) at 1 p.m. at the AFL-CIO Headquarters as they petition the
Administration and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to assume
regulatory oversight through the Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) regarding workplace conditions on commercial
aircraft.
The National Campaign for Hearing Health is particularly
concerned with the issue of toxic noise in the workplace, and the
impact of high levels of airplane noise on flight attendants, pilots
and other frequent travelers.
