WASHINGTON, March 1 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The president announced today his intent to nominate James V. Aidala to serve as Assistant Administrator for Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Mr. James V. Aidala, of Alexandria, Virginia, has been serving as Associate Assistant Administrator for Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances at EPA since 1993.
