Article: Chairman Goodling Calls for Major League Baseball to Probe Baltimore Orioles' Hiring Policies

WASHINGTON, June 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Concerned about possible violations of federal law by the Baltimore Orioles, Rep. Bill Goodling (R-PA) sent a letter today to Major League Baseball Commissioner Allan "Bud" Selig asking the league to investigate owner Peter Angelos' reported policy of not hiring Cuban defectors. Goodling called the reported policy "un-American."
