WASHINGTON, April 25 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The President today announced his intent to nominate Russell John Qualliotine to serve as United States Marshal for the Southern District of New York.

Qualliotine, of Nesconset, N.Y., served with the New York City Police Department from 1973 until his retirement in January, 2000.
