Article: American Cancer Society Urges Administration and Congress to Provide Colorectal Cancer Screening Coverage

WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The American Cancer Society, the nation's leading voluntary health organization, today called on the Administration and Congress to address the cancer burden by enacting legislation designed to provide coverage of early cancer detection and screening. In his weekly radio address, the President announced his support of legislation, advocated by the American Cancer Society, to expand coverage for colorectal cancer screening for Medicare beneficiaries.
