And if we're lucky, the Motor City Bowl Executive Director's love for the University of Louisville and presumptuous attitude toward Marshall won't be able to tread water.

That would be justice.

Which is something the Mid-American Conference, in general, and Marshall, in particular, gets precious little of from the Motor City Bowl.

That has become increasingly obvious this week.

When Hoffman hasn't been promising Brigham Young the moon (or, at least, caffeine-free drinks in the Pontiac Silverdome), he has been busy kissing the Cardinals' tailfeathers.
