Article: Letters to the Editor: ; Big Ugly road isn't so ugly anymore

I thank Bill and Kathy Miller and give several high fives to them for organizing and helping pick up more than a dump-truckload of trash along our Big Ugly Creek and North Fork roadway to the Logan County line. Thirty-five unselfish people volunteered last Saturday. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. Someone had to do it, since the state isn't too prone to solve the problem.

No one who has traveled the Big Ugly road off Corridor G could have missed the eyesore that shameless people had caused by throwing their trash into our ditch lines.

It had gotten to be a disgrace. I hated to have visitors come to my home via that road.

The Logan County route isn't much better.
